The vast majority of book-loving Arabic speakers do not read a second language and we strongly believe there's a huge demand for good quality foreign writing amongst Arabic speakers. A survey conducted by the Next Page Foundation concluded that 85% of literate Arabs surveyed have read at least one book in the past 12 months and that 3 out of 4 literate Arabs read regularly with the highest incidence of readers in Egypt (88%) and KSA (94%). |
