Kant and his critical philosophy
Book Synopsis

Critical philosophy movement, which is generally attributed to Immanuel Kant, regards the primary task of philosophy as criticism rather than justification of knowledge. criticism, for Kant, meant judging the possibilities of knowledge before advancing to knowledge itself (from the Greek "art of judgment"). According to this view, the main and probably even the sole task of philosophers is not to establish theories about reality, but to subject all theories--including those about philosophy itself--to critical review.
