About the Author
  • André Comte-Sponville (born 1952) is a French philosopher, proponent of atheism and materialism. He was born in Paris, France. He studied in the École Normale Supérieure, and is aggregated in philosophy. The most important aspect of this philosopher is an overcoming of traditional materialistic atheism in a perspective of post-materialism, because he show some spiritualization of atheism. Specially present in the essay L'Esprit de l'athéisme, published in 2006. Some of his most recent works include:
